iBoot Browser Controlled AC-DC Power SwitchBrowser Controlled AC or DC Power Switch

iBoot is a 10/100 Ethernet network attached, IP addressed, Web Controlled AC power switch. Anyone with a web browser can access iBoot to perform power On, Off or Reboot (timed power shutdown). iBoot is password protected for security. iBoot uses international standard IEC320 Connections and operates on voltages between 110-240VAC. iBoot handles circuits up to 12 Amps (10 Amps at 240VAC). There is also a DC Version for 5 – 48VDC.

  • Reboot! Remote reboot of any device, routers, servers, kiosks, etc. The device to be rebooted need not be network attached.
  • Security! Secure sensitive devices by keeping them powered off when not in use. This prevents hackers from seeing them at all times.
  • Energy Savings! Power down equipment when not needed for power saving and to save on wear and tear.
  • Notification! Power up alert devices like sirens, lamps, messages;
  • Control! Power-up environmental system like heaters, coolers, pumps, etc.

iBootBar IP / Modem / Serial Controlled 8 Way Power Switches

More Features - Lower Price. Your best value in Remote Reboot!

Get all the power of the iBoot and more with these remote reboot power strips. Control each outlet independently from Web, Telnet, SNMP. Have network access plus out-of-band control via serial port and internal modem with both data and DTMF tone dial control. Wherever you are, you are in complete control.

  • iBootBar - Front perspectiveMulti-Outlet
  • Multi-User Remote Reboot
  • Outlet Grouping for simultaneous switching
  • Current Sensing and Alarming
  • AutoPing for Automatic Failure Detect and Reboot
  • SNMP Manageability
  • Web and DTMF Tone Control in the same unit!
  • Full International Compliance

iBootBar - Rear perspectiveiBootBar is available with single or dual power inlets. Dual power is ideal for remote reboot control servers, routers, etc. with redundant power supplies. Simultaneously switch both supplies off and on for reboot, security or energy management. These models are also ideal for switching higher current devices. Each inlet is distributed to 4 outlets, which can be switched in pairs for redundant systems, or individually for higher current devices.

Models are available for 115/230 VAC, up to 20 amps.

The internal modem option allows connection to the iBootBar from anywhere, anytime. Dial-in with a laptop or terminal for complete control of all functions, or access iBootBar with any telephone for quick power on, off or reboot functions. Telephone users are guided with voice prompts and status information.

iBootBar continuously monitors the current draw from its outlets and reports user settable high and low current alarms. Know immediately when there is too much load, or a device stops working. Alarms are delivered both by email and SNMP traps.

COE-8Contact Closure Transport Over Ethernet

COE-8 is a device for transporting real world status and switch closure information over any IP network. The COE-8 system consists of an Input unit that collects up to 8 status points (wet DC voltage or dry contact closures) and an Output unit with eight relays. Upon any change of status of the inputs, a TCP message will be transmitted to the Output unit, which will change its relays to match the status of the inputs.

The COE-8 provides a link between older systems, which commonly use relay alarms, converting them into IP messages and re-converting them to relay closures at the other end of the network.

This cost-effective and easily implemented technology reduces the need for physical, on-site network management, administration and support by consolidating network equipment located in numerous remote locations into one central location. The COE-8 is an ideal solution for a variety of industries with critical communication needs including but not limited to broadcast, transportation, energy management, security and SCADA systems.

The COE-8 also supports a one-to-many delivery of switch closures. Up to 32 Output units can be simultaneously notified when an input state change is detected by the Input unit.

A Web browser interface is used for status monitoring and setup. Screw terminals are used to connect the inputs and the outputs. IP addressing is set either manually, by web browser or DHCP. TCP Port settable for both Web and control communication. Two level web security is provided for status monitoring and configuration. Two-level security allows different users for monitoring and setup.

Telephone Controlled Power SwitchTelephone Controlled Power Switch

No Extra Telephone Lines Needed!

The user can turn power ON, OFF or Reboot (Power Cycle) remote equipment from ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD by entering tone (DTMF) digits using an ordinary tone dial phone.

The phone line connected to PowerPALcan also be used by other equipment in a normal manner after control of power. With one phone call, you can power up, down or reboot equipment then ring the telephone device connected to PowerPAL's Extension port.

Pal works by answering the call and listening for dialing tones. If correct tones are heard, PowerPAL responds with the current power status and then allows additional tone digits sent to control power. Once power control is completed, the device connected to PowerPAL's Extension can be rung and accessed if desired.

PowerPAL features four call answering modes, many security and power control options, making it easy to use and very flexible. An On/Off/Auto switch allows local manual control. PowerPAL is factory set with the most common operating mode. PowerPAL is easily re-programmed using a standard tone dial phone.

Rack Mounted a/B Switching SolutionRack Mounted A/B Switching Solution

The K-16 Series switching solution provides reliable switchover of communications circuits for line protection and equipment redundancy applications. Create fault-tolerant systems with either simultaneous (gang) switching or independent control of each A/B switch.

These physical layer switches allow redundant systems to be automatically, remotely or manually operated, insuring maximum uptime for critical communication circuits.

Latching relay based switch modules insure communications, even when power is removed or control connections are down.

User friendly menu controls from a web browser or Telnet interface make the system accessible from any network location. Serial port control via modem or direct connection provides out-of-band access when the network is down.

A/B switch cards are available in standard communication interfaces. Each A/B switch card includes the proper connectors; no additional interface modules are required. A/B switch cards support all the leads in their respective interfaces, making them ideal for a wide variety of circuit arrangements, see below for Card Types.
