Airport GSE tracking · ground handling visibility

Track ground support equipment across the airport operation.

GSE tracking gives ground handlers, airlines and airport operations teams clearer visibility of powered and non-powered equipment across aprons, stands, depots and operational zones. Foresolutions combines suitable GPS, BLE and battery-powered tracking methods around the type of GSE, airport environment and operating workflow.

Operational visibility

Find the right equipment before the turnaround clock is against you.

01 · Powered GSE

Live location and movement

Track vehicles and powered ground equipment using suitable installed telematics where power and installation access are available.

02 · Non-powered GSE

Battery-powered visibility

Track dollies, trailers and other non-powered assets with low-maintenance battery-powered devices where hard-wiring is not practical.

03 · BLE assets

Extend visibility to smaller equipment

BLE tags and gateways can complement GPS where the operational question is presence, proximity or location within covered airport areas.

Design around the airport

One tracker type rarely fits the entire GSE estate.

Airport-specific discovery

Start with the GSE estate and the operational questions you need answered.

We can map powered, non-powered and BLE-suitable assets to the right tracking method and show how they can be presented through a common operational view.

GSE tracking architecture

Powered GSE, non-powered GSE and smaller airport assets should not all be tracked the same way.

Ground support equipment estates are mixed by design. Powered vehicles can support installed telematics, non-powered dollies and trailers often need battery GPS, and smaller assets may be better suited to BLE-based visibility. A common platform can bring those methods together without pretending the underlying hardware is identical.

Powered GSE

Installed telematics can support location, movement and selected vehicle data where power and installation access are available.

Non-powered GSE

Battery devices suit equipment that moves around the airport but cannot support a hard-wired installation.

Smaller assets

BLE can answer presence and proximity questions where a dedicated GPS tracker would be unnecessarily complex or expensive.
