Projects & Operations Manager Role 

Salary: £50-£60k (depending on experience) per annum 

Location: Ringwood, Hampshire (hybrid working)

Position Type: Full time, permanent

About You: 

Your role is to deliver business critical IoT tracking and monitoring of projects, products and services across the business, whilst managing the development team and support team and providing monthly progress reports to the Senior Management Team.

You will be responsible for working with all stakeholders and be required to create, manage and maintain project specific schedules ensuring projects are executed within the delivery expectations and meet the desired business outcomes. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, whilst building and maintaining working relationships with team members, customers and other partners/vendors.

There is a requirement to collaborate with the CTO in order to take ownership of developing and maintaining partner relationships and to drive forward the product R&D in order to stem growth.

This position is responsible to the Technical Operations Director and as such will assist the development of information systems and technical services in general within the Company.

Key Responsibilities:

Development, Delivery & Support

• Successfully deliver projects and services by taking into consideration the scope, budget, time scales, risks, resource allocation, communication and reporting, delivery and support
• Managing the team’s workload and ongoing task allocation
• Ensuring development and maintenance of company products
• Managing the QA functions including UI/UX and testing
• Managing external development resource
• Supplier management and third party management
• Overseeing 3rd and 4th line support and dealing with issues as required
• Monthly reporting to the Senior Management Team

Staff Management

• Responsible for all staff training
• Conduct performance reviews for all subordinates
• Managing leave in line with diary and project requirements
• Handling of recruitment of new staff

CTO

• Maintaining and developing the company’s commercial and strategic relations with business partnerships
• Providing R&D insights into the market and developing new services/products or improving existing ones to aid future growth

Requirements - Skills & Experience: 

In order to excel in this role, you will be able to demonstrate management and leadership abilities within a project management and operational capacity across the business. You will need excellent organisational, verbal and written skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.

You will have a strategic and logical mindset, along with commercial awareness. We expect you to understand our products, services and competition within the industry to aid with the company’s growth and success.
