Business Development Executive Role 

Salary: £27k basic. £37k OTE (uncapped)

Location: Ringwood, Hampshire

Position Type: Full time, permanent

 

About You: 

We are a dynamic and vibrant company in an exciting environment, looking to expand by introducing another Business Development Executive to the team. Ideally coming from a business communications sales background, you will be responsible for creating revenue streams from both existing customers and new business acquisition supported by active marketing campaigns. 

This is the perfect opportunity for an individual who is a self-starter and confident building relationships over the phone and in person. We will support you in understanding what the ideal customer characteristics are and their business requirements. You will have that ‘hunter’ spirit, be highly motivated and interested in technology (hardware and software). 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making outbound calls to existing and prospective customers using a variety of data sources including marketing driven and self-generated contacts, and following up on leads generated.
  • Producing quotes and proposals and submit to prospective and existing customers ensuring conversions meet and exceed company KPI’s.
  • Identifying bid and tender opportunities, and submit responses in a timely manner.
  • Maximising revenue generation from own customer base via cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Matching customers’ needs to the right product for them, maximising sales of all company products and services on new and repeat business.
  • Creating and maintaining personal pipeline and forecast of prospective sales.
  • Understanding the scope of the Foresolutions proposition and undertake continual learning to pitch the right product for each lead.
  • Attending networking events as required.
  • Managing leads via HubSpot CRM software

Requirements - Skills & Experience: 

In order to excel in this role, you will be able to demonstrate professional face-to-face presentation, verbal and written skills, within new business development. With strong customer focus and great listening skills, you will treat every prospective and existing customer as an individual, understanding their needs, making them feel that they have had a first class experience. We ask that you are a proactive and tenacious self-starter who has the ability to work alone as well as part of a team. You must have excellent organisational skills with a logical focus and emphasis on priorities and goal setting.

We expect you to quickly understand our products, services and competition in the industry and positioning. By doing so, you will have the technical ability to recommend solutions to new and existing clients, by recognising challenges they are facing and display strong resilience when needed.

You will have at least 2 years of previous sales experience, and a proven ability to hit or exceed revenue targets. Full training on our products will be provided, but a prior experience of selling mobiles to business is desirable.

Computer skills are also essential as you will be working across a variety of CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suites
